ACTIVITY BUS
AMS offers after-school transportation by bus to your home after 4:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for students that need this assistance to get home. Students will sign up for the Activity Bus each time they attend a club or activity on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  When there are large numbers of students riding the bus, the drop off process could be as late as 7 PM. This varies from day-to-day, depending upon the number of students staying after school for After School Homework Assistance (ASHA) and after school clubs. If you are able to pick up your child from ASHA or afterschool clubs at 4:30, we invite you to do so.

Admittance to the school building-
We also want to make you aware of our policy requiring an ID to pick up your student from school.  Please be prepared to show your ID – Driver's License or State Issued ID to the Attendance Secretary when you come in to pick up your student.  Also, please call the office ahead of time on the appointment day and we can have your student in the office, ready for pick-up.

STUDENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UPPlease drive slowly & cautiously in all parking lots before and after school. Please watch out for staff and students entering the building from the parking lots.
Also, please do not drop off your students in the front circle drive bus lane in the morning before 7:30am. We do not want them to dart among the buses to enter the school.
We want everyone to be safe.
Our buses are in the front circle drive from 7:15-7:30am and 2:35-3:10pm.  Please do not park in the bus lane during those times.
STUDENT DROP-OFF
Please drop off your student in the following areas before 7:35am:
6th-7th grade in the parking lot off of Pecanwood.  Please enter in the west entrance and pull all the way forward in the pickup lane so that traffic may move forward in a safe manner.  Please exit through the east entrance.  We want to keep the traffic flow going in one direction.
8th grade in the Anthony Rec Center parking lot.  Please enter the parking lot, turn right and pull around to the entrance at Door #4 to drop off your student.  Then continue forward around the parking lot to exit.  We want to keep the traffic flow going in one direction.  As you exit, you will notice there is no left turn onto Browning Avenue, as this causes congestion and delays for all.  There is a sign posted.  Thank you for following these traffic directions.
After 7:35am, please use the front circle drive for drop off at the front Main Entrance.  All other entrances will be closed.  Students must come to the front Main Entrance and ring the doorbell to be let in and receive a pass to class.
