AMS - Important Dates

AMS Families, 
Here are a few important dates/reminders/information. 

First, our Office is open from 8:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday. 

PE shirts can be purchased in the Office, Monday-Friday from 8am-3pm. 

On Tuesday, August 5th, at 6:00pm, AMS and EMS families with Beginning Orchestra or Band students are welcomed to Manhattan High School Rezac Auditorium to visit with District Orchestra and Band faculty, view options on prospective instruments, and meet with various music instrument rental and supply vendors from around our area. This is the perfect opportunity for interested students to see what they might like to play, and for families in search of a student instrument to see what local vendors have to offer!

Sunday, August 10, 2025 – at noon, 12:00pm, schedules will be available online on Student Portal and Parent Portal.  Please do not call to request schedule changes until after the 1st day of school.  Parents can access Parent Portal at this link under the Parents tab on the usd383.org website - Manhattan-Ogden Unified School District 383 - Parent Resources 

Monday, August 11, 2025 – 6th grade Back-to-School Night – 5:30-7:15pm – more information to follow. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers and put school supplies in lockers. 

Tuesday, August 12, 2025 – 1st day of School for all students, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades – This will be a 1/2 day from 7:40-10:55am. 

Tuesday, August 12, 2025 – 7th-8th grade Back-School Night – 5:30-7:15pm – more information to follow. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers and put school supplies in lockers. 

Wednesday, August 13, 2025 – Fall Sports Parent/Guardian Meeting with coaches – 5:30pm in the AMS Cafeteria 

Our first AMS Happenings Newsletter will go out on Thursday, August 7, with more detailed information re: Back-to-School Nights, Fall Sports Information, and other important items.
